Manager, Talent Acquisition
Lead eHealth Saskatchewan’s talent acquisition team, build inclusive pipelines, and shape hiring strategies that bring exceptional people to digital health across the province.
About eHealth and our Culture
eHealth Saskatchewan is at the heart of how health care works across the province – powering the digital systems that connect care teams, patients and information. With over 800 employees in 20 communities, we provide IT support and services in 433 locations, ensuring the right information and tools are in the right hands at the right time so care teams can focus on what matters most: patient care. We also manage Vital Statistics, health card services, and MySaskHealthRecord, one of Canada’s leading tools for giving people secure online access to their health information.
At eHealth, how we work matters just as much as what we deliver. Our culture isn’t just something we talk about, it shapes how we make decisions, support each other and deliver results:
1. Partner for results: We prioritize teamwork and ensure decisions involve those affected
2. Serve with purpose: We act with empathy, respect and care in every interaction to deliver better outcomes
3. Own our actions: We own our success and failures, act with honesty, and uphold trust
4. Innovate with intent: We challenge the status quo and turn ideas into action
Join us in strengthening Saskatchewan’s health system through meaningful, people-centered digital innovation.
The Opportunity
The Manager of Talent Acquisition is a strategic role leading eHealth Saskatchewan’s Talent Acquisition (TA) function in a complex and evolving technology environment. You’ll coach a passionate TA team, work with HR and business leaders, and design innovative strategies to attract top talent that supports the digital transformation of health services across the province. Success requires understanding of how technology talent moves across Saskatchewan and Canadian labour markets, and positioning eHealth as an employer candidates actively seek out.
This isn’t your average recruiting job. We are not in start-up mode, we’re in next-level mode. We are laser-focused on hiring the right people with the right skills to support our drive to be a leader in digital health. Your ideas, influence, and leadership will directly shape how we attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent that enables our continued success.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Director of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness you will:
Lead and Inspire: Coach and guide our TA team to elevate talent attraction as a strategic function.
Build Talent Pipelines: Lead strategic relationships with post-secondary institutions, technical and professional programs, industry associations, community organizations, and other partners to create sustained pipelines for co-op students, new graduates, experienced professionals, and talent.
Broaden Talent Reach: Use varied channels, partnerships, and attraction strategies to connect with a broad range of qualified candidates and reduce unintended barriers in the recruitment experience.
Design & Deliver Programs: Develop and implement TA initiatives, campaigns, and tools that support sourcing, forecasting, and hiring for hard-to-fill roles.
Strategic Advising: Partner with senior leaders to align hiring strategies with workforce planning and long-term talent needs.
Brand Building: Represent eHealth at networking events and industry forums to strengthen our employer brand.
Collaborate Across HR: Work within a Centers of Excellence model, aligning closely with HR Business Partners to deliver integrated talent solutions.
Turn Data into Direction: Analyze talent data, interpret trends, and translate insights into a clear story and strategic recommendations that guide leaders’ decisions and direction.
Lead Change: Bring fresh thinking to how we attract, retain, and grow talent in a dynamic, unionized environment.
Who we're looking for
The right person for this role is a strategic thinker and trusted advisor who loves working with people, solving complex problems, and finding great talent. You build credibility quickly and know how to influence decisions, using strong consulting skills to uncover what leaders truly need and connect hiring priorities to the bigger picture. You bring curiosity and courage to constructively challenge assumptions, offer fresh perspectives, and help leaders explore new possibilities. With a strong understanding of talent markets and emerging workforce trends, you anticipate opportunities and turn insight into practical strategies. You’re adaptable, creative, and grounded in both data and experience—and, above all, you care about making recruitment easier, more effective, and more human for everyone involved.

Demonstrated ability to coach others, influence leaders, and provide thoughtful, evidence-informed advice.
Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, accessible and barrier-aware hiring practices, candidate attraction, and relevant employment legislation.
Experience working in a complex environment—such as a unionized, regulated, public-sector, shared-services, or matrixed organization—or demonstrated ability to transfer your experience to this context.
Experience leading teams or programs while remaining able to step into operational work when needed, balancing immediate recruitment priorities with longer-term strategic objectives.
Experience using talent data, labour-market insight, and recruitment trends to identify opportunities and recommend action.
Ability to lead change and develop talent-attraction, employer-brand, sourcing, or recruitment-marketing strategies.
